What you will do
- Perform bench-level electronics testing on infotainment and telematics ECUs.
- Set up and operate test benches, laboratory equipment, and validation environments.
- Execute functional, regression, and release validation tests for audio, connectivity, telematics, and user interface features.
- Develop and document test cases, analyze results, maintain test logs, and report defects.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using oscilloscopes, multimeters, diagnostic tools, and log analyzers.
- Support ECU integration, firmware flashing, system configuration, and issue resolution with hardware, software, and quality engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with electronics bench testing and ECU validation.
- Understanding of infotainment and telematics systems.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet automotive communication protocols.
- Strong hardware and software diagnostics, problem-solving, test-data interpretation, and technical communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with automotive testing tools and validation frameworks.
- Familiarity with ECU flashing tools and embedded systems environments.
- Exposure to software debugging, log analysis, or scripting tools.
- Previous experience in automotive electronics or connected vehicle systems.
