Location: Onsite in Warren, Michigan. Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.

What you will do

• Resolve electrical build issues during pre-production, validation, and launch activities.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical, software, and material-related concerns.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supplier teams to improve system performance.
• Interpret vehicle wiring drawings, schematics, and bill-of-material systems for effective diagnostics.
• Document issues and track progress using GM systems like PRTS JIRA.
• Capture lessons learned to recommend design and process improvements for future launches.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with serial data communication protocols like GMLAN, MOST, or LIN.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for complex automotive electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret wiring schematics and electrical drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality.
• Experience coordinating large cross-functional teams in a launch environment.
• Knowledge of GM electrical architecture and systems like SPPS or eSAP.
• Certifications in vehicle programming or automotive electrical systems.
