What you will do
- Own virtual EMI/EMC roadmap, defining modeling architecture and workflows for CE, RE, BCI, RI across product lines.
- Build scalable hybrid simulation workflows partitioning quasi-static, PEEC/MTL, full-wave 3D EM, and circuit co-simulation.
- Translate software modes into EM sources, developing calibrated current spectra and switching stimuli.
- Lead correlation/validation campaigns, designing experiments and establishing model accuracy criteria.
- Establish cross-SBU modeling standards, mesh guidelines, uncertainty budgets, and train teams.
- Provide EMC guidance during architecture, schematic, layout, and mechanical integration.
- Drive toolchain automation in PLM, manage compute, and partner with labs/suppliers for model alignment.
Requirements
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel 20% domestic/international.
- Willingness to relocate to primary office location.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years in simulation engineering, 3+ in EMI/EMC for automotive electronics.
- Deep EM fundamentals: Maxwell-based, full-wave vs. special cases, coupling, CM/DM, resonance.
- Track record leading technical projects in regulated industries.
- Cross-functional/global team experience.
- Proficiency in Ansys AEDT or Siemens EDA.
- Understanding of automotive standards (CISPR 25, ISO 11452, ASPICE).

- System/vehicle-level EMC simulation and design-to-validation workflows.
- Nonlinear EMC and co-simulation expertise (TVS/ESD, ferrites, SMPS).
- Model libraries for components and post-processing for compliance receivers.
