Engineering Technician (Electrical)

Salary: $80,000 - $135,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Install, wire, assemble, and test electrical systems for accelerator components.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on power, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Use lab test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to verify system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and train other technicians in electrical assembly and safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Science, Math, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T and experience with mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with lab test equipment and basic shop tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with electron beam accelerator systems.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and disciplined operations.
