What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable data platforms and batch and real-time processing pipelines.
• Deliver data products in cross-functional squads and translate business needs into reliable, cost-efficient solutions.
• Develop cloud-based ETL and ELT solutions on Google Cloud.
• Establish data engineering standards, guardrails, and best practices for safe experimentation and production reliability.
• Enable machine learning and GenAI initiatives using Vertex AI, Model Garden, and orchestration frameworks.
• Build integrations, APIs, and workflow orchestration processes for scalable data movement.

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating distributed data systems and processing large-scale datasets.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with working knowledge of Java and software engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with DBT, Airflow, Spark, and API-based data integrations.
• Familiarity with machine learning and GenAI technologies such as Vertex AI, Model Garden, and LangChain.
• Fluent English communication skills and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
