What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting migration to BigQuery.
• Manage ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization of data processing workloads.
• Deliver production-grade data products for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders on platform sustainability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the European Union region with a valid work permit.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, including performance tuning.
• Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools like Airflow or Composer and dbt.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native data architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy platform migration projects.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with APIs and external data ingestion.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
