Focus on migrating pipelines to dlt, ensuring stack reliability via IaC, and implementing conversational analytics.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin (3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Own data modeling and the semantic layer that powers BI and product analytics.
• Migrate all remaining pipelines to dlt using Python.
• Ensure stack reliability through scheduling, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
• Manage and deploy the self-hosted Lightdash instance.
• Implement conversational analytics to enable trustable plain-language querying.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering, preferably owning a full stack.
• Strong opinions and expertise in dimensional modeling, layering, and contracts.
• Advanced knowledge of dbt, including materializations, incremental strategies, macros, and CI.
• Production-quality Python skills for API ingestion, pagination, and schema drift management.
• Experience with deployed infrastructure and scheduling tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• Must be based in Berlin or able to work from the office 3 days per week.
