What you will do

• Design complex rotary servo motion assemblies for harsh environments and high-reliability applications.
• Define system concepts and requirements across mechanical, structural dynamics, electrical, thermal, and rotary motion disciplines.
• Predict system-level performance and select optimized approaches for specific applications.
• Lead integrated product development teams and support timely project completion.
• Track project progress, report program status to senior management, and interpret customer requirements.
• Prepare statements of work and product specifications while serving as the primary technical interface for suppliers and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aeronautical engineering.
• Approximately five years of experience designing and analyzing precision electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with mechanical design and packaging, electrical engineering, and analytical work.
• Experience working effectively in a team environment.
• Experience using CAD/CAE tools; UG NX experience is desirable.
• Experience with motion simulations and knowledge of motion-control techniques is preferred.
