What you will do
- Lead the electrical scope and provide technical oversight during the installation of high-precision manufacturing equipment.
- Review and influence electrical designs for final power distribution, grounding systems, and low-voltage communication connections.
- Develop and vet technical specifications for tool installations to ensure compliance with client requirements and codes.
- Ensure all designs and installations adhere to NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including construction and facilities, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Evaluate technical submittals to identify and resolve engineering discrepancies before field implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the engineering design of building electrical systems.
- Deep expertise in NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
- Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work onsite in Boise, ID according to the specified travel schedule.
- Physical mobility to navigate active construction environments and climb ladders.
Nice to have
- EIT Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
- Proficiency with BIM/CAD tools, specifically Revit or AutoCAD.
- Field experience coordinating directly with subcontractors and construction personnel.
