What you will do

• Design mechanical systems for new nuclear power plant designs or modifications to operating facilities.
• Perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and complex analysis for assigned systems.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to other team members on complex projects.
• Conduct research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
• Manage assigned project budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external disciplines to ensure proper workflow sequence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure (to support Engineer of Record requirements).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience in Nuclear Power Plant System design.

Nice to have

• Expertise in condensate, feedwater, cooling water, or steam systems.
• Proficiency in P&ID development and mechanical calculations (pipe, pump, and valve sizing).
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to nuclear power plants.
• Experience in technical communication and specification preparation for mechanical equipment.
