Salary: $126,423 - $230,328

What you will do
- Design mechanical systems for new nuclear power plant designs or modifications to operating facilities.
- Perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and complex analysis for assigned systems.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to other team members on complex projects.
- Conduct research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
- Manage assigned project budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external disciplines to ensure proper workflow sequence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Active engineering registration or licensure (to support Engineer of Record requirements).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience in Nuclear Power Plant System design.
Nice to have
- Expertise in condensate, feedwater, cooling water, or steam systems.
- Proficiency in P&ID development and mechanical calculations (pipe, pump, and valve sizing).
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to nuclear power plants.
- Experience in technical communication and specification preparation for mechanical equipment.
