What you will do

• Lead the design and integration of safety-related (Class 1E) and distribution electrical systems.
• Perform complex electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, and protective relay coordination using ETAP.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering deliverables such as specifications, load lists, and schematics.
• Develop detailed procurement specifications for major components like transformers, switchgear, and generators.
• Ensure designs meet rigorous regulatory requirements including US-NRC and CA-CNSC standards.
• Interface with transmission providers to manage grid integration and stability compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineering License (PE or PEng) or international equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience in heavy, high-reliability industries such as nuclear, power, or oil & gas.
• Must be located in the Eastern US time zone.
• Proficiency in ETAP software and standard productivity tools.
• Strong knowledge of IEEE, IEC, CSA, and NEC codes.
