What you will do

• Build, maintain, and scale backend services and support tooling for the Service Architecture Intelligence platform.
• Develop distributed pipelines that ingest high-volume data, analyze spans and traces, and publish results for customer-facing interfaces.
• Integrate and evaluate AI agents and AI-assisted workflows for code generation, testing, architecture planning, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Create automation that improves scalability, deployment efficiency, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape product specifications and roadmap direction.
• Participate in agile delivery, DevOps practices, shared code ownership, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Professional experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and production-scale environments.
• Strong software engineering experience in object-oriented languages; Java is required.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, streams, event-driven flows, task queues, and message queues.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI coding assistants and AI agents in engineering workflows.
• Experience delivering high-quality production code in agile environments.
• Proficiency in English and eligibility to work in Spain without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating, benchmarking, or developing agentic AI tools, prompt workflows, or developer automation scripts.
• Open-source contributions.
• Experience with build and test automation, observability tooling, or technical mentorship.
