Salary: $168,000–$253,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable APIs and robust backend systems.
• Define the architectural roadmap and make decisions shaping the platform and flagship AI grocery ordering product.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, account management, and peer engineering teams.
• Deliver integrated solutions used daily across thousands of grocery stores.
• Use modern AI development tools and evolving technologies to improve delivery speed and software quality.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience leading projects through the full development lifecycle from conception to launch with significant autonomy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Readiness to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
• Curiosity about complex systems and intricate business domains.
