What you will do
- Represent quality assurance in project planning, coordination, execution, and cross-functional quality interfaces.
- Interpret project quality requirements and ensure they are reflected in internal documentation and flowed down to suppliers.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices and incorporate them into project activities.
- Coordinate responses to customer requests for information and support quality-related proposal activities.
- Identify and resolve project risks, first-of-a-kind issues, and emerging quality challenges.
- Develop quality processes and procedures while coordinating activities through quality leads, supervisors, and managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 8 years of broad quality assurance experience, including quality leadership on large, complex projects.
- Commercial nuclear industry experience with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10 CFR 21.
- Knowledge of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Division 1.
- Experience developing requirements traceability matrices and managing complex projects across multiple work phases.
- Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 is required.
