Quality Engineer (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Support the implementation and maintenance of project Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Plan and execute internal and external audits, tracking findings and corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other QA documentation.
• Investigate non-conformances using root-cause analysis tools to prevent recurrence.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier quality assurance to ensure project compliance.
• Collaborate with SHE teams to integrate quality and safety practices at the site level.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in highly regulated industries (Nuclear, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Aviation, or Construction).
• Essential: CQI Membership (or working towards) and a recognized Internal Auditor qualification.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and problem-solving resolution tools and techniques.
• Ability to interpret ISO standards, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Full clean driving licence for travel to various project sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice to have

• Recognized External Auditor qualification.
• Knowledge of pipework, steelwork, and insulation.
• Detailed knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, and PED specifications.
• Understanding of ISO 45001 & 14001.
