What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact and commissioning authority for complex projects from pursuit through warranty.
• Develop commissioning scopes of work, schedules, and fee estimates for proposals and active projects.
• Lead design phase reviews (OPR, BOD) and oversee the creation of Pre-Functional Checklists and Functional Performance Tests.
• Manage project budgets and collaborate with accountants to ensure accurate invoicing and forecasting.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level commissioning staff.
• Lead the development of final commissioning reports and facilitate warranty walkthroughs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 12–14 years of progressive experience in commissioning, MEP construction, or project management.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex commissioning projects independently.
• Must be based in the United States to access U.S. based benefits.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification (PMP).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Building Commissioning certification.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and NFPA-70E.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
