Product Designer & Builder for SmartyMe (AI)

hirify.global develops SmartyMe, a mobile educational app used by more than one million people.

What you will do

• Own product problems from discovery and user research through design, prototyping, launch, and measurement.
• Define precise customer problems, solution rationale, hypotheses, and success metrics.
• Build working prototypes independently using AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Replit, or similar.
• Partner with the product manager as a peer and own specific product branches.
• Design simple, consistent mobile experiences with careful handling of states, edge cases, spacing, typography, and interaction details.
• Use product data and user conversations to evaluate outcomes and iterate quickly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience, including mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience designing real products, preferably mobile-first consumer applications.
• Ability to build working prototypes independently with AI tools is required.
• Ability to formulate product hypotheses, expected metric changes, and criteria for determining whether an idea failed.
• Comfort designing AI-powered functionality and working with evolving hypotheses.
• Strong Figma skills, including components, auto layout, variants, prototyping, and versioning.

Nice to have

• Experience with activation and retention initiatives.
• Background in EdTech, wellness, habit-building, games, or content-heavy products.
• Experience with design systems or independently shipped products.
• Experience making small production changes.
