HSE Specialist (Aerospace)

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based satellite company developing a constellation that enables standard commercial devices to communicate directly from space.

What you will do

• Define, implement, and maintain the company’s occupational health and safety prevention plan with support from an external provider.
• Assess risks across offices, laboratories, testing areas, and manual satellite assembly operations.
• Supervise the safe handling of heavy and delicate materials, machinery, tools, PPE, and technical clothing.
• Design and deliver safety training for employees, technicians, and engineers, including emergency procedures and safe maneuvers.
• Maintain legal compliance, safe work protocols, emergency plans, and evacuation procedures.
• Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement under ISO 45001.

Requirements

• University degree specializing in Occupational Health and Safety.
• 3–4 years of experience as an HSE Manager or Senior Technician in industrial, technological, or high-precision environments.
• Experience in the automotive or aerospace sector.
• Experience with heavy-load handling, machinery compliance, mechanical and chemical risks, and controlled environments such as cleanrooms.
• Proactive and autonomous approach with strong analytical, communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• High level of English required.
