Junior Hardware Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain hardware for motion-control products, with a focus on stepper motors.
• Design and redesign electronic circuits, including schematics and PCB layouts.
• Analyze circuits, select components, run simulations, and optimize performance.
• Perform hands-on board bring-up, system debugging, and hardware optimization.
• Define test and verification plans with Quality Assurance and improve technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and operations throughout product development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in electronic circuit design and assembly processes.
• Background in electrical power applications and PCB/PCA manufacturing.
• Experience with electronics verification and validation, including technical test and analysis documentation.
• Proven experience with Altium Designer.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of motion control, robotics, motors, feedback systems, or industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or CANOpen.
• Experience with certification processes including CE, UL, and safety requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
