TL;DR
DevSecOps Engineer (Linux/Kubernetes): Building, securing, and operating mission systems and automated delivery pipelines in a classified Virginia customer environment with an accent on Red Hat Linux administration, infrastructure automation, virtualization, container platforms, and CI/CD. Focus on hardening systems, integrating security and compliance controls, troubleshooting across the stack, and maintaining reliable mission operations.
Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States. US citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, and an active CI Polygraph are required.

What you will do
- Modernize and operate secure mission systems across Linux, virtualization, containers, and CI/CD environments.
- Design, maintain, and improve build, integration, testing, deployment, and operational pipelines.
- Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including provisioning, patching, hardening, networking, performance tuning, and user management.
- Develop automation and configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Bash, and Python.
- Support VMware ESXi, vCenter, Rancher, Kubernetes, containerized services, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jira, and related platform tools.
- Integrate security and compliance controls, resolve vulnerabilities, and troubleshoot applications, infrastructure, storage, and deployment issues.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in Linux administration, DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering, or platform operations.
- US citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance, and active CI Polygraph.
- Security+ or CISSP certification.
- Strong hands-on Red Hat Linux administration, including RHEL provisioning, Kickstart, Satellite, RPM packages, patching, hardening, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with scripting, automation, configuration management, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Rancher, Helm, AWS, GovCloud, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, STIGs, vulnerability remediation, RMF, access controls, or secure software factories.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
