Software Engineer III (DevOps)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $102,300–$147,050 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Build and support repeatable, efficient deployment automation for Java-based microservices.
• Analyze and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues across engineering and production environments.
• Develop resilient, fault-tolerant automation and zero-downtime upgrade solutions using cloud-native technologies.
• Build production deployment processes and systems with Operations, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Create custom tools that support development and QA teams, and participate in code and design reviews.
• Provide technical leadership while collaborating with product management, security, cloud operations, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience and expertise in one or more languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with software development practices, design patterns, GitHub, and JIRA.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration as Code.
