Finance Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote placement is not considered. Local hours (PT) are required, with flexibility across time zones when necessary. hirify.global offers relocation based on job level.

Base salary: $109,000–$128,000 per year, plus potential equity and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Execute financial planning, budgeting, and performance management for assigned business lines.
• Build and maintain financial models for long-range planning and business strategy discussions.
• Analyze growth, profitability, efficiency, and performance variance, turning findings into recommendations.
• Deliver month-end close, quarter-end reporting, Board of Directors materials, earnings releases, and regulatory examination support.
• Contribute financial analysis and modeling to M&A due diligence and strategic partnership activities.
• Partner with Finance and business teams while streamlining and automating reporting through AI and other tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance at a bank, financial services, or technology company.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain financial accuracy in a regulated environment.
• Ability to apply AI to financial modeling, research, scenario analysis, and reporting with sound judgment around accuracy, data sensitivity, auditability, and human validation.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• Experience with Anaplan.
• Experience with Tableau and SQL.
• Experience with home improvement financing, point-of-sale financing, or BNPL.
