General Manager (Broadband)

TL;DR

General Manager (Broadband): Leading the financial, technical, customer service, and field operations of a defined broadband system with an accent on operational integration, budget ownership, and local team leadership. Focus on managing profit and loss, executing strategic business plans, analyzing performance, and coordinating complex integration activities across hirify.global and Clearwave Fiber operations.

Location: Onsite in Panama City, Florida; Panama City is preferred, but other hirify.global operating areas in Florida may be considered. This is not a remote role.

hirify.global provides broadband services and operates as part of a combined organization with affiliated company Clearwave Fiber.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day system operations across financial, technical, vehicle, franchise, customer relations, and local customer service functions.
• Support the integration of hirify.global and Clearwave Fiber operations, maintaining consistent standards, priorities, and cultural alignment.
• Lead local staff, including hiring, performance management, motivation, and development planning.
• Build and manage expense and capital budgets, monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and expenditure approvals.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term business plans with the Field Operations VP and COO.
• Review performance indicators and financial statements, establish corrective action plans, and represent the company with public and government officials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven to ten years of related experience, including at least two years in operations management.
• Experience with MS Office, business or general ledger software, databases, email, and internet tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively, lead local teams, manage budgets, and work with public officials and industry representatives.
• Ability to work onsite in Panama City or another hirify.global operating area in Florida.
• Availability for overtime, evening or weekend company functions, public relations events, and travel to other locations as required.
