Location: Aurora, Colorado; the final work location will be provided by the program. US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph are required. Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel, emergency repair trips, after-hours call-in support, and work at heights may be required.
Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annual base pay, plus a company-funded 401(k) contribution equal to 25% of base pay.

What you will do
- Support operations, maintenance, sustainment, enhancement, and integration of RF ground systems and satellite communications hardware.
- Troubleshoot outages and loss-of-signal issues across antennas, RF equipment, modems, cabling, and signal-processing paths.
- Collect and analyze diagnostic data, document discrepancies, identify root causes, and restore system operations.
- Use spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, FieldFox, and related RF test equipment.
- Manage technical requirements, configuration baselines, engineering changes, trade studies, and system performance assessments.
- Develop schematics, block diagrams, bills of material, design review packages, concepts of operations, white papers, and technical recommendations.
Requirements
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
- Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and sustaining RF ground or satellite communications systems.
- Experience with RF test equipment and components including antennas, antenna control units, servos, upconverters, downconverters, modems, encoders, and modulators.
- Experience with ViaSat equipment, AMERGINT modems, RF cabling, connectors, cable termination, testing, and validation.
- Experience managing requirements and producing RF systems engineering documentation, technical analyses, and design review materials.
- Ability to support occasional travel, after-hours call-ins, emergency repairs, work at heights, and required antenna or tower safety training.
Nice to have
- Experience in defense, intelligence, aerospace, secure government, or other mission-critical operational environments.
- Experience with requirements verification, system validation, configuration management, design reviews, and engineering change boards.
- Experience with system architecture analysis, concepts of operations, fault isolation, and operational workflow improvements.
