Strategic Sourcing Manager (IT)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; primarily sedentary office position with physical requirements including operating computer equipment, speaking, hearing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.

What you will do

• Lead sourcing and supply base strategies for technology and services categories including application development, ecommerce, enterprise software, technical consulting, networking and data center hardware, PCs, hosting, mobile services, telecommunications, professional services, legal services, and contingent workforce.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts and agreements while ensuring business requirements and corporate policies are met.
• Coordinate contract intake and review across departments and serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Analyze historical spending, financial data, and sourcing opportunities; create and evaluate RFPs, RFIs, and related procurement initiatives.
• Lead strategic projects and cross-functional programs focused on cost reduction, process improvement, controls, and operational transformation.
• Manage supplier relationships, improve supplier performance, resolve service-level issues, and influence stakeholders through clear communication.

Requirements

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement operations experience in the technology industry.
• Experience working with large technology partners, including leading professional services and software or hardware providers.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to drive scalable operational transformation in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to influence strategy, prioritize opportunities, and measure business outcomes.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to understand complex Information Technology and services programs.
• Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of IT protocols and guidelines, procurement systems, procure-to-pay processes, and supplier relationship management.

• Six Sigma and/or CPSM certification.
