Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional travel for in-person business meetings is required. Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required.

Salary: $85,000–$125,000 per year, adjusted by location. Estimated ranges include $100,000–$125,000 in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles; $90,000–$110,000 in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Denver; and $85,000–$105,000 in Atlanta, Miami, Iowa City, and most other Southeast and Midwest locations.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and category management for Marketing and Professional Services, including advertising, media buying, creative and content, print and production, consulting, legal, and advisory services.
• Conduct market and supplier research, manage RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, evaluate suppliers, and recommend selections.
• Negotiate commercial terms, service-level agreements, licensing models, and complex technology contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, escalations, and contract requirements in partnership with Legal, Governance Risk and Compliance, and Information Security.
• Analyze spend, develop total-cost-of-ownership models, identify savings opportunities, and track sourcing impact against organizational goals.
• Advise cross-functional stakeholders and support enterprise AI technology initiatives using procurement and AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, including at least 4 years focused on Marketing and Professional Services categories.
• Experience negotiating high-value, complex technology contracts.
• Familiarity with ERP, supplier management, and contract lifecycle management systems.
• Strong analytical, financial, strategic problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer. Curiosity about emerging technologies and willingness to adopt AI-driven solutions are also required.

Nice to have

• CPSM, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or ISM certification.
