What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to ensure functional and performance standards.
• Conduct rigorous manual and automated testing for REST APIs and modern web interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to shift quality left in the development process.
• Identify and resolve complex software defects to improve overall system quality.
• Maintain scalable test environments and data management strategies.
• Implement AI-assisted testing workflows to enhance developer experience and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Must be based in the USA and work Eastern Time hours.
• Deep proficiency in testing RESTful APIs (Postman) and React UI frameworks.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language to contribute to automation suites.
• Experience integrating test code into CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with e-commerce or payment products.
• Testing complex backend ecosystems involving Hibernate and Spring.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in a microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
