What you will do

• Build and scale test automation, quality infrastructure, and performance testing systems.
• Lead the design and implementation of core automation frameworks, specifically migrating from Cypress to Playwright.
• Perform root cause analysis on product defects and test failures to determine failure points.
• Develop AI-assisted testing strategies and tackle complex quality problems from ideation to deployment.
• Collaborate with software engineers to raise the overall quality bar within the engineering process.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation for complex software systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing production-grade automation code.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional quality initiatives.
• Experience integrating AI into quality workflows, such as test generation and triage.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
• Must be based in the USA (Austin, TX or Remote).
