Electrical Field Engineer (SCADA)

TL;DR

Salary: $85,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform equipment troubleshooting, relay testing, start-up, and commissioning services.
• Provide onsite construction support, supervision, and coordination between owners, vendors, and contractors.
• Program and install protective relaying, control systems, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Design electric power systems including one-line/three-line diagrams, relaying schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare field testing reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Review design work from drafters and field personnel for quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 2+ years of engineering and relevant field experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and power system software such as EasyPower, ETAP, or SKM.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Ability to travel frequently (50–75%).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Experience with Omicron test equipment.
• Experience with apparatus testing and familiarity with NETA standards.
• OSHA 10 certification.
