What you will do

• Perform detailed design of substation electrical power systems, including wiring diagrams, SCADA, and grounding.
• Create computer-based models and conduct power system studies (short circuit, load flow, arc flash).
• Develop protective relay settings and quantify results using hand checks.
• Prepare project documentation, including cost estimates, budget reports, and proposals.
• Provide field assistance and troubleshooting for client projects.
• Review work of designers and drafters to ensure accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 1–5 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Knowledge of substation electrical design.
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
