Senior Program Manager (Voter Registration)

Location: Remote within the United States; residence in or relocation to a program state is not required. In-person activities and travel of up to 30–40% in election years are required.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Oversee third-party voter registration programs in competitive state legislative districts and own strategic planning in up to two states.
• Manage partner RFPs, budgets, invoices, funding approvals, and alignment with organizational budgets.
• Track program performance and quality-control metrics, hold weekly partner calls, and develop remediation plans.
• Build accountable relationships with field partners, recruit potential new partners, and manage external organizations in targeted states.
• Conduct site visits, coach partners on voter registration and quality-control practices, and facilitate trainings.
• Advise senior staff on strategic and funding decisions in targeted states.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of progressively responsible experience in field campaigns, unions, nonprofits, or civic engagement organizations.
• Significant experience managing staff and scaled, in-person voter registration drives.
• Experience with budget design, training, canvass and office management, and quality control.
• Knowledge of voter registration compliance, program performance metrics, VAN, Blocks, spreadsheets, and Google Suite.
• Experience building coalitions and managing external relationships, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30–40% during election years and conduct required in-person activities; full COVID-19 vaccination is required, subject to accommodations and exemptions.
