Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Valencia, California, with regular onsite presence and travel among Valencia A, Valencia W, San Fernando, and West Hills sites

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 national target base pay; $133,000–$221,000 for California and New York metro candidates. Annual performance bonus and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for California manufacturing sites and supply chain functions.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, operating model changes, team effectiveness, and capability building.
• Lead change management and talent initiatives, including supervisor training, coaching clinics, career development, succession planning, and performance processes.
• Use workforce data, employee feedback, and business insights to identify risks and recommend HR solutions.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance concerns, accommodations, grievances, corrective actions, and employment decisions.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Talent & Organization Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner experience with complex client groups.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations and partnering with senior leaders, managers, supervisors, and frontline employees.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, accommodations, corrective actions, and employment risk.
• Strong knowledge of federal, California, and local employment laws, HR policies, compliance, and regulated manufacturing practices.
• Regular onsite work and travel across assigned California locations are required; the role does not provide immigration sponsorship or support.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR.
• Experience in manufacturing, technical operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, food manufacturing, or another regulated environment.
• Spanish-speaking ability.
