Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner Operations

Location: Onsite in Valencia, California, with regular travel to San Fernando and occasional meetings in West Hills and Valencia W. Regular presence across assigned California facilities is required, including support outside standard business hours when needed. Immigration sponsorship and support, including Form I-983 training plan completion for STEM OPT, are not available.

Salary: $133,000–$221,000 target base pay for candidates in California and New York metro areas. The national target base pay range is $120,000–$200,000. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for California manufacturing sites and supply chain functions.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, operating model changes, team effectiveness, leadership transitions, and workforce planning.
• Lead talent and organizational initiatives including supervisor training, coaching clinics, career pathways, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Use workforce data, employee feedback, and business metrics to identify trends, risks, and proactive HR solutions.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance concerns, accommodations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Operations to deliver integrated HR support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner experience supporting complex client groups.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, food manufacturing, or other regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal, California, and local employment laws, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, leaves, accommodations, corrective action, and termination processes.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work across office, manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and production environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or support.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification.
• Spanish-speaking ability.
