Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX and work in the office at least two days per week

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with managers and employees across assigned business units.
• Advise leaders on talent management and complex, high-stakes people decisions.
• Manage employee relations matters, performance management, investigations, terminations, accommodations, and complex leaves of absence.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze HR trends and metrics to produce actionable insights for business leaders.
• Improve onboarding, offboarding, leave-of-absence, and other employee lifecycle workflows while mentoring People Operations team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, preferably as an HRBP or Senior Generalist at a SaaS startup.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws, compensation, and benefits.
• Independent experience handling high-risk employee relations situations, investigations, terminations, and accommodations.
• Advanced proficiency with HR technology, including ADP WFN, Lattice, and Greenhouse.
• Advanced experience with data analysis and scalable reporting models.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and ability to determine when to escalate matters to Legal or leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience building and iterating with AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT.
