HR Business Partner

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite office work

Annual base pay: $120,000–$140,000, plus potential benefits and performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Advise and coach executives, managers, and employees on people management and organizational challenges.
• Partner with business leaders on organizational design, team development, headcount planning, hiring, retention, and workforce planning.
• Lead talent strategy, performance management, employee relations, counseling, conflict resolution, investigations, and employee care initiatives.
• Support change management and reorganizations, including communications, timing, employee transitions, and policy alignment.
• Partner with Total Rewards teams to analyze workforce trends and develop compensation, benefits, and reward strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, organizational development, or performance management.
• BS/BA degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resource Development, or Business Administration.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders and driving growth and profitability.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in an onsite office environment in Carlsbad, California; occasional travel and extended hours may be required.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience developing creative approaches to complex Human Resources challenges.
