HR Business Partner

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite

Annual base pay: $120,000–$140,000, plus potential benefits and performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Advise and coach executives, managers, and business-unit leaders on people and organizational challenges.
• Partner with leadership on team structure, organizational design, headcount planning, and workforce strategy.
• Lead talent strategy, performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, counseling, conflict resolution, investigations, and employee-care initiatives.
• Support reorganizations and change-management initiatives, including communications, timing, and employee transitions.
• Partner with Total Rewards and talent acquisition teams to develop workforce, compensation, and talent-pipeline strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, organizational development, or performance management.
• BS/BA degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resource Development, or Business Administration.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing decisions related to people and teams.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, analytical, problem-solving, listening, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary and travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience creating innovative approaches to complex Human Resources challenges.
