Global Messaging Architect (Microsoft 365)

Global Messaging Architect (Microsoft 365): Designing and governing enterprise messaging, identity, security, and collaboration platforms across TKO’s global brands with an accent on Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Okta, Entra ID, and regulatory compliance. Focus on architecting M&A and divestiture migrations, secure mail routing, hybrid coexistence, threat protection, and business continuity at enterprise scale.

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, or remote within the United States. Working hours are dynamic.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually.

What you will do

• Define and govern global messaging architecture across Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, integrated security, and compliance platforms.
• Lead messaging strategy for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, rebranding, domain consolidation, and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Architect global mail routing, authentication, security filtering, hybrid coexistence, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Partner with Security Operations, Legal, Compliance, and infrastructure teams on phishing defense, threat detection, retention, eDiscovery, and regulatory reporting.
• Guide integrations with Teams, Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms while governing privileged access and identity controls.
• Advise executives on risk, cost optimization, vendor strategy, and messaging investments while mentoring engineers and administrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in identity and access management and enterprise infrastructure, including identity architecture in large-scale hybrid environments.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Google Workspace, Okta Identity Cloud, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience creating high-level and low-level designs, runbooks, process diagrams, governance standards, and architecture documentation.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and mentor engineers.
• Experience with email authentication and security technologies including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, DANE, and advanced threat protection.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Exchange, Mimecast, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, GIAC, Zero Trust, PIM/PAM, or IAM governance certifications.
• Experience building global messaging monitoring and alerting frameworks.
