Senior Platform Architect

TL;DR

Senior Platform Architect (hirify.global): Driving production readiness and long-term technical health for customer systems built with hirify.global, with an accent on distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering. Focus on designing scalable operational standards, resolving complex production issues, and translating successful deployments into customer adoption and growth.

Location: Remote within the United States; must reside in the Western Time Zone. Occasional travel for customer engagements, company events, and team offsites may be required.

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 OTE annually, with a 70/30 base salary and variable compensation split. Eligible for stock options.

What you will do

• Own customer production readiness, activation, and the first production workflows.
• Establish reliability, failure-handling, scaling, upgrade, alerting, and operational standards.
• Lead KPI-driven technical programs covering training, governance, migrations, and architectural debt.
• Coordinate Professional Services, Support, Partners, and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Run technical reviews, readiness checkpoints, maturity assessments, and production certification.
• Partner with customers, Growth Account Executives, and Solution Architects to drive adoption and expansion.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering or solutions engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience building, deploying, operating, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and experience creating technical documentation, runbooks, or training materials.
• Must reside in the Western Time Zone and be willing to travel occasionally.

• Experience with hirify.global or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
• Observability, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Professional services, technical consulting, or solutions engineering background.
• Open-source contributions or experience delivering technical training and workshops.
