Senior Solutions Architect (Marketing Technology)

Location: Primarily based at the Waterside Building in Louisville, Kentucky, with potential hybrid flexibility. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design high-level and detailed architectures for software, cloud, data, and marketing technology solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and cost-effective technical designs.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, account managers, engineering teams, and marketing technology stakeholders.
• Provide architectural oversight, mentor engineers and architects, and establish solution delivery best practices.
• Evaluate existing systems, troubleshoot complex integrations, and assess emerging platforms and technologies.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, technical specifications, integration blueprints, RFP responses, and technical presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in architecture, engineering, information security, or a related technology discipline.
• Experience designing solutions across cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, software development, relational and NoSQL databases, networking, or cybersecurity.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and produce actionable, scalable technical designs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Availability to work primarily from Louisville, Kentucky, with potential hybrid flexibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing technology platforms, data-driven personalization, or member-facing digital programs.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and API gateways.
• Master’s degree, relevant professional certifications, or experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated enterprise environments.
