Head of Resourcing (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Define and lead enterprise-wide resourcing strategy for experienced hiring and early careers in alignment with business priorities and future workforce needs.
• Advise senior stakeholders on hiring requirements, talent availability, skills shortages, and competitor activity across the business.
• Lead sourcing and assessment innovation, employer positioning, inclusive recruitment, and access to diverse talent pools.
• Manage the preferred supplier list, agency spend, commercial negotiations, and the principal contingent workforce supplier.
• Improve candidate and hiring manager experiences through process optimization, Workday, recruitment technology, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Lead and develop a resourcing team of approximately 25 colleagues while maintaining strong governance and risk controls.

Requirements

• Multi-year experience leading a company-wide resourcing or talent acquisition team in a regulated financial services environment.
• Extensive knowledge of talent markets and resourcing trends in asset management, public or private markets, and/or insurance.
• Experience identifying and sourcing Non-Executive Director profiles for PLC and subsidiary boards.
• Commercial experience managing large budgets, contingent workforce suppliers, preferred supplier lists, and agency negotiations.
• Strong strategic workforce planning, analytical, stakeholder management, and senior-level influencing capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience building high-performing teams and delivering inclusive hiring approaches.
