What you will do
- Lead teaching quality, assessment integrity, curriculum governance, and academic compliance.
- Ensure programs and delivery meet TEQSA, CRICOS, and HESF 2021 requirements.
- Coordinate, mentor, and develop academic staff through observations, feedback, and professional learning.
- Monitor student progression, at-risk students, retention, and student support initiatives.
- Oversee academic scheduling, faculty workloads, assessment moderation, and learning resources.
- Drive new course development, micro-credentials, articulation pathways, accreditation, and industry-aligned initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in design, fashion, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience accepted under TEQSA requirements.
- Experience in higher education teaching, curriculum design, or academic coordination.
- Strong knowledge of TEQSA, HESF, and academic quality standards.
- Experience leading academic teams, mentoring faculty, and implementing professional development.
- Experience with assessment moderation, student support strategies, and course compliance.
- Legal working rights in Australia and willingness to complete the required background checks.
Nice to have
- Experience in academic administration, compliance, or course coordination.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning tools.
- Knowledge of work-integrated learning and industry engagement.
