Training Consultant - Advisory (Open to Veterans) - Expression of Interest

Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Permanent full-time role based in the Canberra office; travel is uncommon.

What you will do

• Analyse learning needs and develop learning strategies, curricula, and engaging content.
• Design, revise, and continuously improve training courses for different audiences.
• Facilitate interactive face-to-face and online training for end users.
• Coordinate training agendas, timelines, delivery calendars, and content flow.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, clients, and stakeholders to achieve training goals.
• Support communications, change management, adoption of new systems and technologies, client relationships, status reporting, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Must hold AGSVA NV1 clearance, or hold Baseline clearance with the ability to obtain NV1.
• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end learning and development, training delivery, and/or change management.
• Experience with Defence projects or environments; experience managing Learning & Development projects is advantageous.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Minimum CIV Training and Assessment qualification.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, manage conflicting demands, and work with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Tertiary qualification in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or Communications.
• Experience with SADL and Defence Learning.
• Veteran or Defence background; veterans are encouraged to apply even if not all requirements are met.
