What you will do

• Develop and manage integrated project programmes, schedules, resource strategies, tender programmes, and contract programmes using Primavera P6.
• Create detailed Work Breakdown Structures and align programme logic with project scope, methodology, contractual requirements, and NEC conditions.
• Identify and communicate schedule risks, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare programme recovery proposals.
• Define milestones, sequencing, and deliverables with project managers and discipline leads.
• Lead schedule reviews, progress reporting, programme updates, and supporting narrative for project teams, senior management, and clients.
• Analyse resources and productivity, support cost forecasting, improve planning processes, and mentor junior planners.

Requirements

• Senior planning experience in utilities, civil engineering, or major infrastructure projects.
• Expert working knowledge of Primavera P6; familiarity with other planning tools such as MSP is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and associated planning requirements.
• Experience building, managing, and interrogating complex project schedules.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, resource modelling, and earned value analysis.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
