Location: Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom; on site 3–4 days per week. BPSS security clearance is required or must be obtained.

What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering contracts and work packages from concept through handover.
• Manage scope, schedules, costs, risks, quality, change control, and project performance.
• Oversee electrical distribution, protection systems, infrastructure, and associated site works.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and operational interfaces.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, stakeholders, commercial risks, claims, variations, and contract changes.
• Maintain risk registers, report progress against milestones, and implement continuous improvement actions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of project management experience in highly regulated industries.
• Experience delivering complex engineering or infrastructure projects from concept through handover, including EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong electrical engineering background with knowledge of power distribution and infrastructure systems.
• Experience with construction delivery, site execution, cost, schedule, risk, quality, and change control.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary stakeholders across clients, contractors, consultants, and supply chains.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience; BPSS clearance required or willingness to obtain it.

• Nuclear industry, major infrastructure, energy, or new-build construction programme experience.
• Knowledge of nuclear quality requirements and assurance processes.
• Experience with NEC and FIDIC contracts, commercial claims, and negotiations.
• Experience working with construction and commissioning teams.
