Senior Planner (HVP)

Senior Planner (HVP): Creating and maintaining full-lifecycle project schedules for a FOAK Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) facility with an accent on Primavera P6 master and construction scheduling, schedule risk management (QSRA), and NEC4-compliant progress updates. What you will do

• Develop and manage scheduling processes and documentation (WBS/OBS/CBS structures, cost accounts, activity coding).
• Build and maintain fully cost and resource loaded Primavera P6 schedules (integrated master, level 4/5 construction, and lookahead).
• Embed schedule risk management using Quantitative Schedule Risk Management Analysis (QSRA) and time risk allowances.
• Align schedule with project cost estimate/cashflow and resource forecasting/utilisation.
• Run change control support using critical path analysis and float erosion; manage NEC4 in-line progress capture, schedule updates, and submissions.
• Produce monthly reporting outputs (planned vs actual, S-curves, manpower histograms) and support earned value management and compensation event impact schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in an EPC environment.
• NEC3/4 qualification and/or significant experience.
• Expert-level capability with Primavera P6 planning software.
• Strong analytical skills and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Carrington, Manchester (M31 4AY, GB).

Nice to have

• BSc/BEng/MSc in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or a relevant subject.
• APM, AcostE, or APE membership/qualification.
• Certified Oracle P6 training (P102 & P106).
• Power BI, Power Platform, and SAP experience.
