Student Experience Advisor (Education): Supporting students throughout their academic journey at an arts and design institute, with an accent on onboarding, wellbeing, progression, retention, and community engagement. Focus on coordinating student services and events, managing student information across administrative and learning systems, and resolving sensitive student matters with empathy and discretion.
Location: Onsite at LCI Melbourne, 150 Oxford Street, Collingwood, Victoria, Australia. This is a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract, subject to renewal based on performance and operational needs.

What you will do
- Coordinate student onboarding, orientation programs, and first-semester support with the Admissions team.
- Advise students on academic, personal, and wellbeing matters and connect them with relevant services.
- Monitor student progression, coordinate timely interventions, and support retention initiatives.
- Organise social, academic, career, networking, workshop, and industry speaker events.
- Support alumni engagement and outreach in collaboration with Marketing.
- Maintain student records and communicate resources, events, and opportunities through campus and digital channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, empathy, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, administrative, planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and student-support technologies, including Omnivox Lea.
- Working With Children Check, National Police Check, applicable International Police Check, and verification of unrestricted work rights in Australia are required.
