hirify.global provides digital and face-to-face mental health support for children, young people, adults, and organisations, working with the NHS and local authorities.

What you will do

• Provide individual face-to-face counselling and appropriate support to young people aged 11–19, or up to 25 with additional needs.
• Assess young people’s mental health needs and refer them to appropriate local authority services when necessary.
• Agree clinical hours with the Clinical Lead and Senior Practitioner for the local area.
• Follow legal requirements and school procedures, with particular attention to safeguarding.
• Attend monthly clinical supervision and relevant team meetings.

Requirements

• Student who has completed the first year of Level 4 counselling training and needs additional hours to meet training obligations.
• Supervision and insurance must be arranged by the candidate before the placement begins.
• Ability to support young people according to their developmental needs.
• Willingness to comply with safeguarding requirements, legal obligations, and school procedures.
