What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with children, young people and families across Havering communities.
• Conduct targeted outreach and engagement with isolated or vulnerable families.
• Connect families with Family Hubs, Family Help, health, education and community services through practical guidance and signposting.
• Work with schools, early years settings, health providers, faith groups, community organisations and voluntary-sector partners.
• Identify barriers to support, gather community feedback and contribute to service development.
• Maintain accurate records and support monitoring, evaluation, safeguarding, information governance and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Early Years, Health and Social Care, Youth Work, Advice and Guidance or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience supporting children, young people and families in community, education, health or voluntary-sector settings.
• Experience collaborating with professionals and multi-agency partners.
• Knowledge of the Best Start for Life agenda, family support services, safeguarding and child protection.
• Strong communication, listening, relationship-building and organisational skills.
• Commitment to inclusion, confidentiality and high-quality family support.
