Therapy Specialist - Advanced Surgery South (Medical Devices)

Location: Field-based, Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom. Frequent travel is required.

What you will do

• Deliver product demonstrations, clinical education, hands-on training, workshops, and clinical events for healthcare professionals.
• Provide clinical expertise and support the implementation and adoption of Advanced Surgery therapies and products.
• Partner with Account Managers on territory business plans, account development, and clinical value-based selling.
• Build relationships with surgeons, nurses, theatre staff, and hospital decision-makers while providing clinical mentorship.
• Support tender processes, portfolio expansion, cross-selling, upselling, and post-award implementation.
• Use CRM systems and market insights to manage opportunities, track performance, and inform business strategies.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or equivalent clinical qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical, healthcare, medical device, or related environment.
• Experience working within or alongside hospital healthcare settings.
• Business proficiency in English is required.
• Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to undertake frequent travel in a field-based role.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge in Advanced Surgery, Surgical Care, Operating Theatre, Wound Care, or related therapy fields.
• Medical device or healthcare industry experience.
• Training, education, or facilitation qualification.
• Commercial or customer-facing experience.
• Digital literacy and confidence using CRM systems and virtual training platforms.
