Learning & Knowledge Management (L&KM) Solution Designer

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; the Manufacturing Academy is based in Veldhoven, Netherlands.

What you will do

• Analyze learning needs with subject matter experts and business stakeholders and define clear learning objectives.
• Gather knowledge, insights, and requirements from trainers, experts, and other stakeholders.
• Design learner-centered storyboards for e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and assessments.
• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging performance-based solutions.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify accuracy, functionality, usability, and alignment with business requirements.
• Track trends and emerging technologies in learning design and introduce effective new approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning and Development in Organizations, Human Resource Development, Educational Sciences, or a related field.
• Professional experience in instructional design and creating detailed storyboards for different learning solutions.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM.
• Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a cross-functional, matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required. Proficiency with Copilot or similar AI-enabled tools and Office 365.

Nice to have

• Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Learning Management Systems.
• Experience designing workplace learning, on-the-job training, simulations, or other practice-based learning.
• 5 Moments of Need® Designer Certification or 12 Levers of Transfer® certification.
• Experience with learning evaluation methods, tools, and techniques.
