Security Consultant (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead or contribute to cybersecurity projects for medium to large organisations across public, international, and private sectors.
• Manage, configure, review, and optimise firewall environments and network security architectures.
• Assess customer security needs and recommend technical and organisational security measures aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with security architects, engineers, client stakeholders, and teams responsible for infrastructure, networks, applications, and IT architecture.
• Develop technical proposals, security documentation, and customer-facing presentations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity and project management.
• Strong knowledge of network and firewall management, including rule approvals and access requests.
• Knowledge of incident response, investigation, and vulnerability management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science.
• Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in multicultural environments.

Nice to have

• ITIL, ISO 27001, or SIEM certifications.
