What you will do

• Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to improve quality, efficiency, safety, cost, and operational performance.
• Conduct tests and measurements to control critical dimensions and defectivity in manufacturing lines.
• Drive manufacturing capacity and support technology transfers to global production sites through training, audits, and process consistency.
• Execute equipment and process maintenance, repairs, continuous improvement, installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps.
• Develop systems to prevent excursions and detect discrepancies in equipment or material performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process development with production goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of hands-on manufacturing experience through internships, academic projects, coursework, or practical training.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools such as JMP or SQL Pathfinder.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical design, electrical circuitry, and equipment management.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Kulim, Malaysia, on Shift 1.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, assembly equipment, and testing protocols.
• Knowledge of design of experiments (DOE) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage changing priorities independently.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL Pathfinder, or Power BI.
